Live Reptile Shipping (and Supplies)
ACReptiles.com is proud to announce that we are now booking all UPS Next Day shipments with ShipYourReptiles.com. Do what? ShipYourReptiles.com (SYR) is a new online shipping service (part of the Pro Exotics group of companies) who has worked directly with UPS to create a shipping service specifically for shipping live harmless reptiles. Now anyone, regardless of how often they ship reptiles, can ship reptiles through UPS without breaking the rules or needing a special account.
The really cool part...30% Off (NO BS - You really save $10-20 per shipment) You and I can now get better rates on UPS shipping than I was getting two weeks ago...and we had a pretty good discount. Since the shipments are booked through SYR, everyone is basically going in together on one huge account. And because of that, we get a huge volume discount (30%). To give you an idea of how good that is, we spend $2,000 a month with UPS and our discount was only 18%. Everyone can use their services (you don't have to be a frequent shipper), so anyone who ships reptiles would be crazy not to take advantage.Shipping Kits If you only ship one or two reptile packages per month, you probably don't want to buy a 10 pack of shipping boxes, a 10 pack of heat packs, a sleeve of 100 deli cups, etc. This is why SYR is offering shipping kits, where you get everything you need for a single shipment. Just getting started? Keep your money and buy shipping kits as you need them! ![]()

Bulk Crested Gecko Diet (MRP)
I have personally been using Crested Gecko Diet since its introduction in 2003 and although I prefer to supplement my geckos' diet with crickets, I do stand by it as a complete diet. The flavor was improved a few years ago and the improved version has been a huge hit with ALL of my geckos, even those who had previously not taken well to the original version. The bulk version is sold under the Repashy Superfoods label and can be purchased through a variety of online retailers. Visit http://superfoods.repashy.com for a current list of retailers.
 Kritter Keeper Rack
This is a lidless rack system that holds nine size Small Kritter Keeper Enclosures. Trust me, we use them and they rock. :) These popular tubs are also marketed as Herp Haven, Pal Pen, Faunarium, etc. and they're all made from the same molds, so you can get them almost anywhere. This rack is what I raise my hatchling to juvenile geckos in, but it works great for all kinds of other small reptiles. Click HERE for more photos and information. Available in the US & Canada!
Reptile Show Displays If you're looking for a professional way to display your geckos at shows, look no further. These display units have taken years to develop and are some of the nicest looking, most durable and well thought out display units on the market. Prices start at just $99.

Crested Gecko Cage
These cages are made specifically for crested geckos. Size wise, this cage is perfect. It's big enough to hold five or six large adults, yet short enough that you can stack them three cages high. The solid sides and back help it maintain proper humidity much longer than an all screen cage. Screen sides/back are also a nightmare when it comes time to spray cages, so I really like this feature.
Very affordable at $65 - Dimensions: 23"x15"x15"
- Removable PVC floor tray (Great for Cleaning!)
- Stackable
- Two front-access doors; one standard hinged door and one flip-top
- Both sides are white PVC
- Floor and back are white PVC
- Front and top are screen
- Aluminum Frame
- Very Light-Weight - (Soooo unlike a fish tank!)
Here is a photo of them in action at our facility... Note: This is the only product on this page that I'm not actually using for crested geckos....but only because I already had a room full of racks when they started making them. Bottom line, I do use these cages for other species (Tokay geckos) and have seriously considered switching my whole collection over to them.

Exo-Terra Glass Terrariums
If you're looking for a functional cage that will make a great show-piece, look no further. I have a few of these in my facility to show off special geckos, snakes, etc. They come complete with the foam "rock" background and can be accessed by the front opening doors or through the removable screen top. There are too many cool functionality features to list here, but I will say that this is the most well thought out commercial reptile cage I've ever seen. Glass is heavy, breakable and it does have its drawbacks, but everyone should at least set up one or two of these. They also make a furniture grade stand, which doubles as a storage cabinet and work station. Great for a living room display! Available everywhere (just google them for the best prices).
Egg Cartons and Shipping Supplies SuperiorEnterprise.com This is where I get my egg cartons and all my shipping supplies (deli cups, insulated boxes, heat packs, cold packs, etc.). Note: Superior Enterprise offers these items in sizeable quantity, so if you're just shipping a few animals per month, you can always buy shipping kits from ShipYourReptiles.com (same place you should be booking your shipments). Click HERE to visit SuperiorEnterprise.com
Generic version of the disinfectant Virosan® and Nolvasan® This is what I use to disinfect cages. It's the generic version of Virosan and Nolvasan, so it's available for about a third of the price. One gallon of this concentrate costs about $12 + shipping and will last a few years, even with a large collection.
Chlorhexidine is non-toxic when used properly (don't forget to dillute with water) and is very effective as a disinfectant. In fact, this is the same stuff veterinarian offices use to disinfect counters, etc. It is also used to treat minor scrapes and cuts, as well as an oral rinse. Tip-Proof Food Bowl
I found these great little bowls at Petco for about 95 cents each ($1.89 for a pack of two), but they do run sales on them from time to time. We have literally hundreds of these because they hold the 1.5 oz. and 2 oz. Solo disposable souffle cups perfectly. This prevents them from tipping over and ultimately saves a ton of time and money. The raised handles on the sides also provide a great hide area for the geckos. Our inside joke around the shop is to yell "Turtle!" whenever an adult has its head sticking out one side and its butt sticking out the other. Strangely enough, the adults hide under these more often than babies...even though they don't really fit. And we've still never had one actually tip the bowl.
Shaker Cups (Tip) I stumbled onto the Ultimate Shaker when I got one free with my protein powder at the local fitness supplement store. I started using it to mix my Crested Gecko Diet and was in love...it has made mixing the diet a lot easier and cleaner. It has a strainer that fits in the top, which helps to break up and mix the diet as you shake it. The spout on the top makes it super easy to fill up the disposable cups. It has measurement marks on the side, so it's easy to see how much diet and water you're adding. The Ultimate Shaker company doesn't sell them individually, but you can find them at several online retailers (sometimes with their logo on the side) for as low as $2 or $3 if you do an internet search. This brand is pretty cool, but any cup like this will work.
