OK, I'm getting ready to go to Daytona (just for fun, not to sell anything) and am going to have my employee here working the reptiles while I'm gone.? Rather than make him label every gecko individually, I'm just going to have him pull geckos throughout the day and put them in tubs as needed...meaning I won't know the bloodline of each gecko.

Whoever guesses how many geckos hatch while I'm gone (Friday-Monday) will get a free hatchling...no photos, I will just pick one randomly, but it will be a nicely patterned fire/harlequin of some sort.?

Remember, I won't know which geckos hatched from which egg, so it could be from my creamsicle project, pinstripe project, red harlequin project or lavender project.

- The contest will end Tuesday morning at 10am CST.?
- To enter, just post your best guess in this thread.
- If nobody hits the nail on the head, the closest one will win.
- Only one entry per person.
- If you edit or delete your post, you're disqualified!
- The winner will be responsible for shipping ($40).?
- I will give away up to five geckos.? If there are more than five people who get the exact number, we'll hold a drawing.
- These will be fresh hatchlings, so I'll have to ship them after the middle of September.

Good luck!!

That's a pretty good idea for a contest.

I was thinking though, shouldn't the guesses be kept private? Especially if more than one person can guess the same number. It just seems like you'll get the "Price is Right" effect where people will under/over cut someone else's guess. Plus some people in here may know you better and know what your average hatch is or even just how many breeders you have. If it's public I'm going to do what most people are probably going to do and that is to what until almost the last minute and make the same guess as someone who I think is closest.

Since Anthony mentioned that we couldn't edit the post, I'll assume that he wanted us to post them. Smiley

My guess is 11
