The bite did hurt, but it was on a sensitive place, right between the nail and the finger. Other wise it really wasn't that bad. He is almost tamer than most of my cresteds. He just slowly climbs and jumps, almost like Eeyore, lol.

Chahoua are really cool geckos.  They're more problematic to breed and less prolific than cresteds, but I always try to keep a couple around for fun.  I had a couple of females that would bite at my hand when I reached into their cages, but I don't think it was on purpose because they were fine after the initial shock.

I have 3 pairs of Pine Isle Chahoua and one PI hatchling. 4 of the adults are super tame. They literally just sit on my hands when I take them out...they don't even jump. The other adult pair is super aggressive and try to bite my hands as soon as I reach in the cage....lil pitbulls I tell ya!

The hatchling tries to bite, but I'm workin on that  Roll Eyes

These are by far my favorite Rhacodactylus and I can't wait to hatch more out!
