im in the market for a new camera, and i was recommended to the sony cybershots. I've been looking around at them, and then came across megapixels  Huh I am in no way a camera guy, never really bought one. So would 8.1 mp be good? like in this camera?

http://www.sonystyle.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10551&storeId=10151&langId=-1&productId=8198552921665061541

thats the one im seriously considering. it seems nice for the price. would that do the job for taking pics consisting of 95% geckos? i dont know what else ill really use it for...

circuit city's website has a lot of customer reviews on products and helpful guides.  you probably don't need more than 5mp, just a good macro feature.
