Tank size: This applies with alomst any adult animal the bigger the better.
It also depends on the type of leachianus you're talking about. For exampe the Grand terrre animals are going to require a larger enclosure than the henkli.

Neonate leachianus tend to fare better in smaller enclosures where they feel more secure.
Gradually increasing the size of their cage with age.

As far as food is concerned... Throw out, scratch, remove the babyfood. unless it's used as a snack. Get Repashy's complete leachianus diet.
As far as insects, most leachianus will eat anything that moves. That is if they can catch them. Some are so lazy they'll wait for a cricket or other insect to come by rather than hunt it down. Just my 2cents.

Any other questions post them up. Plenty of people on here willing and able to help.

are? most of these guys?

No. A fair amount of them are but all are not.

Trachys and some leachies have a bit of a temper with trachys being the more aggressive of the two according to the rhac book.

My nu annas tell me loud and clear with grunts and whistles when they don't want to be messed with or when they're ready to be returned to their enclosure.

Then you have the rest of the bunch with mossys, aurics, saras and cresteds some are flighty (saras) and all have their own personality.
I've had crestsed and goyles with a wide spectrum of personalities. There are those that are absolute spazzes those that like to nip at fingers those that sit there and do absolutely nothing. An eclectic bunch if you will.  Undecided

I definately want to get some saras and chahouas.  So most of the saras are ok? And people said the chahouas are really good too right?  I've also heard both ways about aurics.  Some say aggressive, some say not.  What do you guys think?

so basically it has to do with the personality of the gecko and self just some are known to be more aggresive? Out of the 8 cresteds we have now, you can def tell that each of them has there own personality, some will jump at you when you take off the cage top, some will run so fast around the cage so you dont catch them. SOme are more flighty and some jsut sit there with you. NOne that bite yet!

If you're talking about leachianus.... There are variations from snout characteristics to their length, color, pattern, size even pupil orientation.  There is so much out there even the pros are still trying to piece the puzzle together.

If you're really interested in the differences of these traits. Check out the rhac book by Fast, De vosjoli, Repashy.
