Hello have not posted here in awhile I got 2  juveniles geckos about 6 months ago I do have one book that goes over sexing geckos so I know I do have 1 male but the other crestie seems younger I think it might be a female the spores seem smaller and not a bulge by privates but this one is a lot smaller. Anyway they share the same cage and I am worried that they might possible be fighting each other at night I hear loud noises late at night sometimes that wake me up, there cage is like 5 feet from my bed. There are no signs or injury on either of them I am just worried when they get older they might do real damage. Only rly rly late at night they seem to go crazy but they are mellow 90% of the time. I would like to just buy 1 big cage and keep them in that just want to make sure are a Male/female 1st my current cage is 18x12. I tryed to take pics of there private areas to post but they came out all blurry any how I would like any suggestion on what action I should take.

it sounds like you have an idea on how to sex them already, all i can suggest is that you separate the 2 geckos until they are similar in size (and until you can be certian the second one is a female).

if one is bigger than the other then it may bully the other one, and not allow it to eat as much as it should. also if the second gecko ends up being a female the male will know before you do and will mate with her before she is ready.

even if the second is female, they should not live together, as they will breed, and breeding a female at a young age can cause serious health issues or death.  I would recommend separating them no matter what.
